Avg Stride Length-FIXED!

same problem for the last few workouts.....

Me too! No ave stride length which is very important data to me! May 2 ok but May 9 lost. I am using FR235.

Missing from my FR610 uploads for the past 3 or 4 days.

Unbelievable how the coders can manage to lose a bit of display code or the calculation. The field is still in the CSV export but it's a null value.

We have recevied reports that some users are no longer seeing the Average Stride length in Garmin Connect. We are investigating this and will update this thread with any new information.

Because a run done on May 4 shows stride length and a run done on May 6 shows nothing. IMO the problem is obvious, some programmer decided that stride length wasn't useful so he removed that feature from Connect and Connect Mobile. Also obvious that particular programmer is NOT a Runner, my bet he spends his spare time on a couch pretending that he's an "operator" in some video game. Yeah, over 30 years of experience with programmers who don't ever consider the users viewpoint has pretty much erased any respect I had for the profession.

IMO the only solution will be to be the "squeaky wheel" and keep complaining until the put stride length back in the reports. So everyone seeing this thread add a reply to complain. Might also be useful to use the 800 number and place a call to Customer Service.

I have the same issue. I saw all the posts and was wondering where Garmin was at with this issue. I called the toll free number and talked to a guy who was very helpful and not aware of it, but did some looking around with another department and also saw the thread on this issue. They are currently working on this problem. A case number was developed so it can be tracked.

You are wrong. Some users are still seeing the Avg Stride Length in Garmin Connect:

Avg Stride Length is most certainly showing on my recent runs recorded on my FR630 (used in conjunction with a HRM4-Run chest strap with Running Dynamics support).
