Swimming Personal Records Not Showing Up

I have been doing a lot of lap swimming lately tracking using my 920XT. When I got the personal records page there are no records listed for any of the distances, it doesn't seem to have translated any of my swims to the records. The only personal record filled in is for longest swim and it was an open water swim.

Does Garmin Connect not support personal records for pool/lap swimming despite having a tab for it? Has anyone experienced this and found a fix.

Looks like the venu is not on the compatibility list.

Thanks for the quick reply and the helpful link! Super disappointing that my new watch doesn't support it right now, but at least I can swim with it and at least I can insert it manually. 2/3 is pretty good still!

Still it makes little sense. Garmin Connect collects the information from my Instinct and displays it in detail on Connect. Connect could easily keep track of PRs for swimming as it does for cycling.

Does Garmin even read this site? In the thread above several links have been posted but none of them work.

Sometimes Garmin staff responds, but for the most part this is a user-to-user community forum. I attempted to repair some of the errant links, since these were pointing to the old forum.

I have no personal records set but most of my swims are not the exact distance on the record list. But I also have no personal longest swim. I have no swim records and I own an Instinct which is on the supported list to tract PR.

Hm, strange, Instinct is indeed on the list of compatible devices - as I am an Intinct owner too, I would bet, it was not listed previously, since I have already consulted the list in the past. Either the Alzheimer is taking over, or Garmin added the support with the last firmware release. I do see any such change listed on the firmware changelogs, though the last beta v6.53 has also two changes in swim functions, so perhpas it is related and they turned the support on.

I have venu too - its annoying esp when the swim icon is there so youd think it would support it!
