Swimming Personal Records Not Showing Up

I have been doing a lot of lap swimming lately tracking using my 920XT. When I got the personal records page there are no records listed for any of the distances, it doesn't seem to have translated any of my swims to the records. The only personal record filled in is for longest swim and it was an open water swim.

Does Garmin Connect not support personal records for pool/lap swimming despite having a tab for it? Has anyone experienced this and found a fix.

    Same issue

    I have the same problem. Doesn't matter whether it's open water or lap swimming in a pool, the only distance the app records is longest swim. All the other distances are blank!!
    Anyone know if there is a fix or am I missing something completely?

    Has there been an update on this? I recently bought a 935. Connect only shows my indoor pool 100m PR.
    I swam 1500 m open water at the weekend and this would have been a gps record swim time for me. Connect is ignoring the swim for personal record purposes.
    Any ideas?

    I think swimming records are for pool swimming only, as the name for the records tab in Garmin Connect implies.

    Firstly, why would that be acceptable?
    Secondly, its only recording my fastest 100m in the indoor lap pool. Despite doing lots of 400m intervals and even up to 1500m.
    Anyone else got this problem?

    Who said it is acceptable? It doesn't have to be. You are free not to accept it. But if it is acceptable (by you or anyone else) or not, has nothing to do with how it is right now.

    My pool swimming records are fine. All of them. Can you post a link to an activity that according to you should yield a PR, but hasn't for some reason?

    I worry that garmin instinct can be not in the list of supported devices because of either it doesn't support automatic detection of PRs for swimming or most probably garmin hadn't actualized this support article. I hope that the second option it is. Who knows whether Instinct supports detecting swimming PRs?

    My Personal Records for swimming does not show up either. It does for all other activities, just not swimming. Garmin? Any pointers please??

    What device do you use? Not all devices detect swimming PRs.

    Mine isn't showing up either (I use the Venu) I have the workout but no records! Is there a solution for this yet?
