HELLO

I have a garmin 810, however today did a ride and its not uploaded the map either on strava or connect

any ideas what i can do?
  • Shhh don't complain or they remove maps

Search was not working? Removed it
Don't complain to much or they remove also maps
Is the Garmin way to bug fixing:mad:
  • Issues also in explore

If you search a city in explore
    NYC is antartica
    Milan in Somalia
    Paris in the Indian Ocean

Same problem here in Florida. Map shows KC but no track for the 41 miles I cycled there or in my local area. Totally hosed.

Maps is probably the worst part of Connect. They are small and don't have a full screen or any sizing option. Oddly Garmin Live has great full browser maps.

Just checked and Garmin Live maps are still working.

  • My ride won't show in garmin connect, it only shows Kansas, US but my location is UK

    also showing Kansas

I am north of Syracuse, N Y. Just loaded my bicycle ride for today. Initially, the map was accurate, then switched to Kansas for today and for all previous rides.
  • I didn't do a GPS activity today but after seeing this thread, I edited my GPS activity of yesterday to see what would happen.
I'm in Montreal. When I saved the edit, the map flipped to Ohio. However, after a few seconds it changed back to Montreal.

Perhaps, you folks need to wait a few seconds to see if it flips back for you also.
  • It seems to have been fixed now, but earlier when the folks above were posting, let me assure you that waiting a few seconds was not fixing it.
  • I Think It's Fixed

    I think it's fixed.....
I came here earlier today (About noon eastern time) for the same problem of maps being in Kansas, but the activity was in Detroit. I also had none of the nice charts at the bottom of the activity (heart, pace, etc.). The previous days' activities also showed no maps or charts, even though they were OK yesterday.
I went to the Garmin Connect US Status tool at: https://connect.garmin.com/en-US/status but it showed no problems.

As of now (4:30pm eastern tine) the maps are showing correctly & the charts are back. Perhaps this was a server glitch on Garmin's end.
    Glad it's back!
