Can't sign in to Garmin Connect

I can't sign in to Garmin Connect. Have res-set the password in case that was wrong but still no good. I've had this problem before and one time Garmi instructed me to change some of the browser setting but can't remember what that was. Any help / advice?

    Haven’t been able to sign in for 10 days now. So frustrated!!
    I try to sign in and just get “unable to sign in. Please try again later”.
    PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

    The last person to post in this thread before you was 7 months ago. I don't think this is something you should expect Garmin to do. What I suggest is that you try another computer or mobile. It could be a setting on your computer. If you can sync, then the server is obviously up.

    There are also the usual recommendations such as clearing your cache, etc.

    BTW, what browser are you using?

    I can sign in on my laptop but not the APP so I don’t think this is a problem at my end but a problem with the APP. I’ve tried deleting the APP and reinstalling several times. Changing the password but nothing works. Just the same “unable to sign in, please try later” message.

    I can sign in OK to this forum. I can also sign in to Garmin Connect. But, when I try to export activities from Training Centre to Garmin Connect, it asks me to sign in, and then it says "invalid username or password"!
    The reason I'm trying to export is because my activities don't appear any more in Garmin connect. Garmin Express says synced up to date, but nothing shows up in Garmin Connect.
    What exactly is going on at Garmin? Does anybody know?
    Maybe I'll just use Strava and dump my Forerunner.

    Yes, I am using the same username and password, and I can sign in to garmin.com using them. It's only in Training Centre that I have a problem. I go through the steps to export, and it asks me to sign in to Garmin Connect. I supply the same username and password and it says they're wrong.
    I have gone through the Express steps you suggested, and it is the same account. I only have one, and one Forerunner. It tells me that the last time I synced is April 18th! So, something changed after that date, as my syncing isn't being recorded. Garmin Express keeps telling me that my syncing is up to date.

    I have not been able to sign in to garmin connect on my iPhone for over a week. Am not able to pair my device or anything! I have updated my phone, re downloaded the garmin app, changed my password and I still receive same error message “trouble connecting with our servers” 

    when I go online on my windows laptop, I get connectivity issue message as well. 

    how do I solve this, have just ordered my 4th garmin watch because my forerunner won’t connect to my heart rate strap anymore (I recently replaced my heart rate strap) and now I can’t access my data or clear my watch history before using the new forerunner. Perhaps I need to switch to Apple? 

  • Since you're unable to login successfully to the Garmin Connect web site, this sounds like an issue with your Garmin account. I suggest contacting Garmin phone support to get it sorted.

    In the past 2.5 years I have used Garmin FR935 and 945, Trying to connect the watch to my two Mac's (including Mackbook Air and iMac, both with most up-yo-date OS) and log in via. Garmin Connect on my Mac almost never worked. I tried maybe 10 or 12 times, once every month or two. It had worked only once. I have never seen software of such horrible quality. Based on my experience (35 years in IT), the Garmin Connect App (for Mac) as a piece of software has never passed any QA and should have never been released.

    I did not even know that there is any app specially for Macs. If you are speaking about Garmin Connect Web (and since we are indeed on the forum of Garmin Connect  Web, I suppose it is the case), then it is not a Mac app, it is just a website that runs on the server, and you simply just view its pages through a browser.

    And since it works for hundreds of thousands of users all right, and without any login problems, I dare to suspect that the problem may be on your side. Possibly blocked cookies, or a security measure blocking some functionality, an outdated incompatible browser, firewall filters on your Mac or on the router,.... Or perhaps your account was blocked for some reason years ago.

    In your place, I would first try accessing the GCW account from another computer, and preferably, to make sure the router does not interfer, connecting through another router. If you still cannot login, then contact Garmin support and sort it out with them.
