Import of old data to garmin connect

Hi, I have old data (2006 to 2016) from old localclient version of Garmin Connect (on my Mac) imported from my Edge 705. I exported data as tcx.file (All Training Center Data.tcx) to a memory stick and tried to upload to new Garmin Connect web based version. It starts to upload but after some seconds I get a failure message. File is 158 MB. Anyone that knows a way around this matter?
  • I seem to recall Garmin Connect choking on large uploads from Garmin Training Centre some while back. If you still have GTC, might be an idea to try breaking it down to smaller chunks.

Wasn't there someway to export directly from GTC to GC?

As an aside, I seem to have lost my copy of GTC. If you have the installer for a Mac I'd love a copy :-)

I have my old CD copy if that would help.
It says for Mac OS X & Windows.
I don't know if the "clone" I made is any good, never tried it.

    OSX installer

The CD version of GTC did not work for me on OSX El Capitan.
There could be an installer version available go GTC in ~/Library/Application support/Garmin/Training Centre/tmp depending how you upgraded your OSX or maybe in previous backup.
    The latest version is 3.2.
