Goals - "Any Activity Type" Missing

I set up goals for the week every Sunday. One of them is the goal for how many hours I want to exercise during the week. For that goal, I use "Any Activity Type". This week it appears to be missing as a choice. There's "Uncategorized" but I'm thinking that won't work for my purposes. Am I just not seeing it or is "Any Activity Type" really gone for good?
  • It's definitely more of an issue than a new request but in talking to support, they recommended I send in an idea as well.

If they removed it by accident, then it's an issue. If they did it on purpose it needs to be treated like a new feature. At least that's what they told me at the time.
  • Yes, that should cover all avenues.

    'Any Activity Type'

Another reason this becomes an issue is that unless you recategorize an activity it automatically considers it a 'running' activity; at least it does with my Forerunner 225. For example, today I went for a bike ride, a little over 6 miles with an average mile pace of just under 6 minutes a mile. My run pace is nowhere near that so unless I recategorize the activity it will throw off my overall average run pace because it thinks I became an olympic runner overnight, lol.

    any acitivity gone as well

I went to set up my goal for 2017 and the "any activity" feature is gone. SO ridiculous. so now i have to set up multiple goals and then figure out the net mileage? why do they continue to take away the things we love!?

    please respect your loyal customers...

Hi M. Garmin, I can understand issue like this can happen but it's not a big deal to fix it !!

Why are you taken that long to react? I'm sure you understand for the users of garmin connect; that we use it on the day to day basis, that mean this "small" issue is a big frustration for us...

    Please react accordingly.

    Regards,

    Daniel
  • same issue here.
I am going to call Garmin to re-store the "All Activities" category.
  • Ditto

Disappointing change. And right at goal setting time too.
  • It's not so bad, is it?

I mean...you can't track your overall miles anymore but hey, we can all keep on tracking our wingsuit flying still! Seriously, Garmin...overall miles...appeared once, not any longer? Lame.
