My new personal records are not updated in Garmin Connect. Anyone know how I can force this.

I found the solution just 30sec after posting my complaint!
1. I clicked on activities and got the list of all my activities.
2. I checked today's race and clicked the button ASSIGN PR
3. I checked the right PR category
4. done :)

I wonder, when so many users have complained about the issue, why are they taking so much time to do something about it.Talking about it here is not the same as reporting the issue as a customer to the Garmin's Product Support team. How many fault reports have been submitted? I don't think you know, and the number of people talking about the issue in this forum is not a reliable or scientific estimate.
Manually re-loading the activity defeats the very purpose of automation.I agree. So don't do it if you don't want to. You know there's a fault. Work around it, avoid it, live with it, report it… it's your choice whether to do any or all of the above.
