Personal records are not updated

Hi guys,
Noticed the same problem yesterday after the race when I improved my records on 1mi, 5km and 10km. Something must have gone wrong in GC database.
And one more symptom. Although the activity is deleted in the overview of the chosen gear it is still calculated. If you click on the list of the related activities,
the deleted activity is not there, but it is counted. I contacted Garmin. Has anybody got the Garmin response yet?

1. I clicked on activities and got the list of all my activities.
2. I checked today's race and clicked the button ASSIGN PR
3. I checked the right PR category
4. done :)

This is the workaround when the edit activity wipes away the personal record.

This only works when your activity distance matches the PR distance.

For instance, I ran 10.6km and had a PR for 10km. The activity time was longer than the PR time and the value manually assigned ends up being the activity time and not the PR time.

This needs to get fixed - the workarounds don't really work for many cases.

It is possible to set a recordas described above in Garmin Connect.

If the activity distance doesn't correspond to the record's distance, the activity's time is wrongly assigned to the record distance. Then, the record time can be corrected manually in Garmin Connect. The time can be derived from the activity's data, i.e. auto-laps.

Nevertheless, I agree that this is very annoying and should be fixed by Garmin soon.

Something definitely has changed recently as I too am having the same problems. The personal records appear on my watch but will not show up on Garmin connect. HOWEVER, the PR's did sync to Strava just fine, which leaves me to believe that the issue is with Garmin Connect. I just noticed this yesterday after racing a half marathon. I beat both my half marathon time and 10k time, however, when I try to assign the PR manually, I'm only able to assign the half marathon and not the 10k. Kind of disappointing :( I know a few other people in my garmin connect group is having similar issues. I was hoping that it would magically sync from my watch to garmin conenct this morning, but no dice.

Anaerobic Threshold

Not only Records but also the Anaerobic Threshold are no longer updated, you confirmed?

Same issue for me, if you try to add a comment or to change the name, the PR disappears... really annoying: I try different things, nothing works.. is there a new update that would solve it?

Personal Records not transferred

Just completed my first marathon and obviously longest run. Both show as records on my watch (Forerunner225) but on the garmin connect app both are blank. I updated the run to a race and it disappeared. I have done the same thing before on new records and they always stayed. I tried doing the assign, as someone mentioned, but don't seem to have that function.

My husband has the same issue of not transferring and he has the Forerunner 235

What platform did you use to change the activity to Favorite?
