How can I see a report with data, more than 12 months?

I have the same issue - I would also like to see the older data. For example, I have old marathon results from previous years which I cannot see and compare with my recent results. I feel betrayed if I cannot get my history back. It's my data, and I should own it. We are certainly not the only ones interested in trends & years of development.

hannum, you can export each and every one of your uploaded activity records – as the original FIT files, or as TCX or GPX files – and ‘get [your] history back’; you do own the data, and nobody is betraying you. Garmin does not owe it to you to present the information in the way – be it a summary of aggregated information, graphical representation of one or more metrics over time, or a detailed report that enables easy comparison of two or more selected activities – you may want as a user; that is a value-add, and not one to which you're entitled just by virtue of uploading your data. If you maintain that unreasonable expectation, then you're betraying yourself and causing yourself that unnecessary frustration.

I'm sure there are other tools out there that can produce the sort of report or give you the type of analytical support you would like, if you upload your data to them (and apply whichever procedures and/or pay whatever service subscription/usage charges, if applicable).

ASmugDill It wasnt an unreasonable expectation; it is technically realizable and would be business-wise as an added-value product for Garmin to offer since competition is on the rise and I am optimistic that it will be implemented in a near future, after all, garmin connect didnt come with the first sports-related gear nor was it synced to Strava from the get go, and the latest technological prowesses in the fields of storage and processor clocking rates all point to the likelihood of its prompt realization. hannum was merely, and understandably if i may say so, expressing his fear that the data he collected through hard work was deleted/lost after 12 months and didnt know that it was in fact possible to harvest his data from Garmin on his own and apply it through 3rd party apps or programs. It is reasonable to expect that when one buys a data collecting product that is bundled with a presentation app such as Garmin connect, one expects that the app presents all of the data. Would it be unreasonable, if a tech company sold me a smartphone that is bundled with an app for email collecting, to expect it to show mail beyond the past 12 months? In other words, saying it is reasonable or unreasonable is only a matter of conception over what the agreement between the buyer and the seller was. Misunderstanding the agreement over what the product/service that you are buying is, either due to limited information from the seller, or one's own limited research is what causes unnecessary frustration, not the expectation that the product/service will work as conceived from the agreement and that has nothing to do with entitlement; since entitlement, here, springs not from uploading data but from buying/purchasing the product/service which in itself is an agreement between the buyer and the seller, and no one's entitled to not get ripped off, by others or by one's own doing, one might say. The question is, are we buying the wearable alone or with the presentation service? Is the wearable marketed alone or with the presentation service?

HailToHermes, actually, there are entitlements due application legislation and/or regulations such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation that ‘spring’ from uploading one's personal data.

I have some historical data in my Garmin Fenix 3 that I would like to export to a spreadsheet. Is there some way I can do that?
