Unable to export TCX, GPX, or Google Earth

When I am trying to export an activity, I get this error:

HTTP Status 403 - You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.

type Status report

message You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.

description Access to the specified resource (You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.) has been forbidden.

I end up going to the old Garmin Connect and exporting from there, but when that goes away then what? Anyone else get this error?

    I had the same problem and I solved it by setting the privacy -> all

    a) Which is the complete path of the settings?

    Profile | Data protection settings | Who shall see your profile?

    or

    Profile | Data protection settings | Who shall see your new activity?


    b) Do we really need to disclose our data in order to get rid of this error message?

    I'm still getting this a year after switching to modern. You can overcome it by switching to classic, but it's a pin doing that. I'm certainly not going to change my privacy settings just to be able to export my own data!

    Come on Garmin - pull your finger out and get it sorted!

    Unable to export TCX, GPX, or Google Earth

    I have recently purchased Garmin Edge 520 and garmin vector powermeter. I can download my ride on garmin connect via garmin express but when I try to export that activity as a tcx file on garmin connect I get an error message - "Invalid or empty activity". I have no troubles like this with my downloadad file from garmin forerunner 910xt. What am I doing wrong.

    I have been exporting my ride files as tcx for months. About 3 days ago, I began receiving this same error message. I believe this is a Garmin issue and would love to know when it will be resolved.

    Inability To Export TCX Files From Connect

    Similar topic posted in the "Connect" forum. Several days ago, I lost the ability to export my Connect activities as TCX files (my device is an Edge 520). All other files types export just fine. Here's the error message I receive. . .any ideas?:

    Garmin Connect - Error 500

    Hello... I've been trying to download ".tcx" files and keep getting this error "Status 500 - System error : Invalid or empty activity " Not sure how to correct. Is there an link to upgrade or do I need to install something on computer? Please advise, Thank you, Alison

    Same issue here for about the last week. There are a couple of other threads on this issue (I started one in the Edge 520 Forum) but I haven't seen any resolution.
