Unable to export TCX, GPX, or Google Earth

Getting that same exception for some activities. Please fix this as soon as possible!

HTTP Status 500 - Exporting to TCX

I would be grateful for advice on what could be causing the message below (this has happened 3 times to me in the last 10 days. I read that it may be due to the watch being out of memory and overwriting previous activities, but this has also happened since I deleted all files off my 310XT. All the information appears to load into Garmin Connect, but I get this message when I try to Export to TCX so that I can upload to Strava. Any advice would be appreciated as I have the Snowdonia Marathon on the 29th October and don't want that file to be corrupt!!:

Export to TCX not possible

I'm having the same problem, so it seems to be a general issue.

Is Garmin monitoring this forum? It would sure be nice with a fix, rather sooner than later.

@screes5053, it's not you. Many users of the site are experiencing the same issue. Please see the rest of this thread for several workarounds. If refreshing the screen is not working for you, you can always export the .fit file version of your activity by using the option "export original."

So after some investigations it seems like there is no GPS-data for last weeks sessions. There is no map on garmin-webpage, when exporting the fit-file and trying to convert I get information that the is no GPS points in the file. So something have happened with the import as well.

Do others have the same issue with no map information on Garminconnect as well?

I'm not having the GPS-data issue. Just the same export issue as everyone else in this thread. I know that in the past users have had issues when their device is full, so it cannot store any more GPS info. I have a 310XT. I always delete history after a successful upload to GC. It seems that there are currently a number of 630 users that have been having the "no map" problems.

Export to GPX files

Garmin support is poor.

Still same problem.

I think, if they can not fix problem, the best way to help is use another suppliers products. Suunto or Polar.

Can't downlaod activities

Hi,
When i try to download .tcx og google earth files from my activities i'm just getting an error page.

"HTTP Status 500 - System error : Invalid or empty activity", and a lot of coding.

What to do about it ?
