Unable to export TCX, GPX, or Google Earth

When I am trying to export an activity, I get this error:

HTTP Status 403 - You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.

type Status report

message You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.

description Access to the specified resource (You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.) has been forbidden.
JBossWeb/2.0.0.GA

I end up going to the old Garmin Connect and exporting from there, but when that goes away then what? Anyone else get this error?

One things that worries me, that I just realised is that there is no map information on the activities that I can't export on Garminconnect. almost like they haven't saved the GPS-coordinates. I can't see any map information on the routes that I can't export. So I guess it isn't the export it self that fails. It has to do with what is being recorded or transfered from the watch.

What is the deal. I keep getting this error too. Trying to export this activity (https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/1398757294) to GPX.
  • Glad it's not just me! I have been able to make it work, randomly...I have no idea why.

As reported by many, this is currently an issue. I was able to download your GPX, after 3 reloads.

Same issue here. Occasionally I get lucky and I'm able to export an activity, but not often.

This afternoon and evening I must have tried 50 times to upload a TCX / GPS file.

Nothing worked. Exported a FIT file.

I wonder what is taking so long to get this issue addressed?
  • Can not export to anything but fit

    Hello

I am trying to export activities to TCX or any other format other then fit.
The fit files looks fine on QuickRoute.
I did it for a long time, the problem is just in the last two weeks.
Same problem for a few activities.
The activity looks fine in the web site.
    The error attached

    Thanks
  • Yes, this is annoying. I export to TCX almost on a daily basis. I saw some instances where export would work in Chrome but not in Firefox. But lately the export feature seems to be completely broken. This is definitely a nice to have feature...
