Unable to export TCX, GPX, or Google Earth

When I am trying to export an activity, I get this error:

HTTP Status 403 - You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.

type Status report

message You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.

description Access to the specified resource (You do not have sufficient privileges to view the activity with id 610947649.) has been forbidden.
JBossWeb/2.0.0.GA

I end up going to the old Garmin Connect and exporting from there, but when that goes away then what? Anyone else get this error?

If at first you don't export...

    ...try...try again.

It took a couple/ten screen F5's and three closings and reopenings of Chrome, but GC finally exported this afternoon's GPX file. I've tried all kinds of digital voodoo, but I can't find any logic as to what makes the export constantly fail or finally succeed. Definitely a weird error.
  • I am having the same issues. A work around is to 'export original', open the zip file to create FIT file. This can be uploaded to TrainingPeaks
  • Export training as .tcx or .gps

Impossible to export files anymore from Garmin Connect to my own trainingdiary ??

This in information, what do I get, when trying:

So for the 4th day in a row, export doesn't work for me. When I hit refresh I sometimes get a activity downloaded but it is corrupt. It's missing all information. Can they please fix this issue asap!
Also been in contact with support (E-mail), no reply yet....

This is what all the GPX-files looks like when exporting them. As you can see there is no GEO-information nor no information about HR etc...

I also have bee experiencing the same problem over the past two week. Will the problem ever get resolved
  • Estimated time to fix?

Had the problem start a few weeks ago
problem fixed for lots of runs, (except one), new runs exportabe to tcx ok
Today I find some new files since then are not exportable

Sucks. In the final three weeks of a marathon buildup and I have software to compare
my current timeline with previous buildups to see how things compare. Can't do it without the tcx files.

    Boo.

Having the same issue and FIT files not uploading correctly to Strava

I'm having the same issue and the FIT files generated by my Edge520 aren't uploading properly to Strava (Avg speed, max speed, distance are completely incorrect) they suggested exporting and uploading a TCX and it would be fine but I am getting the same empty activity message

500 HTTP error when exporting activities into TCX

Same issue here, have been trying to export activities into TCX and GPX for the last few days and a 500 HTTP error response keeps coming back from the server:

This has started to be annoying, is someone going to fix it?

I have been having the same problem the past couple of weeks. Sometimes works, sometimes it gives me the same error described. Garmin needs to fix this quickly!
