Fenix 3 not recognized - Listed as "Unknown"

This comes and goes with different versions of the software version on the Fenix 3 but it's clear that the problem lies with GC.
We have to edit each activity manually to turn off Elevation "Correction" to show correct data.
VERY ANNOYING since this is supposed to be a trail watch.
It seems like a trivial thing to fix, when the problem first showed up it was fixed quickly but only for certain software versions for this watch.

E-mail them again.
I'd send it to the beta team and also ask them if I should send to someone else.
Also remember that even if they read your mail and are working on it they won't answer unless they need more info.

I email them on 13th July and get response:

"Thank you for submitting your issue.

This is an issue our engineers are looking into.

If they have any further questions, we will contact you.

The Fenix 3 Team"

HOW MANY MONTHS WE HAVE TO WAIT TO GET THIS ISSUE RESOLVED????? I'M SICK OF CHANGING MANUALLY ELEVATION CORRECTION ON EACH ACTIVITY.

And elevation graph not showing correctly for half a year. I'm very very disappointed.

My F1 is now finally working properly after 8 months of patient waiting. Started working friday afternoon. Now Connect shows correctly that I have Fenix1, with SW version 5.0 and elevation data is not corrected by default. The elevation graph is also correct from the barometric measurement.
