I am able to sync my Fenix 3 to the Connect App without any issues. I noticed after the latest update of the my Fenix 3 to v6.5 that my device is listed as "Unknown" after an activity. It used to list my device and the software version it was operating under. Any idea how I can get that back? Thank you!
I don´t know if this is the place, but I would like to open an activity in GC to analize and see with all the statistics, VO2 after that run, Lactate Threshold and recovery time.
I know I can find VO2 in Summary, or ohte rinfo, but it would be nice to see it in every activity. For example, yesterday I ran 10 k and recovery time after finishing was 21 hs. Today I ran again the same circuit and recovery time is 18 hs. That is useful because, just as an example, shows me I m improving my condition.
i have the same problem, but it did not started with update but it started on 6th of january, when i still had the 5.10 installed on fenix 3. since then in workout details it says Rubber Ducky instead of Fenix 3 :-)))..
I have had the same problem with this since the upgrade. It also changes the enabled and disabled elevation so the elevation gain is not as correct. Please fix Garmin. Interestingly Strava knows when I am using the Fenix 3 on uploading as I also use a FR620, but garmin connect does not
Same problem but with Fenix 1: activities till 17 January 2016 show fenix/tactix/D2 and picture, activities after that date show Unknown. The problem is not in the firmware version, all the activities were taken with the latest firmware version 5.0.0.0.
Is the problem fixed for Fenix 3? If yes why not for Fenix 1 too?!

Some F3 users reported that is was fixed but after several days the issue is back.
For some (including me) the problem exists continuously since beta FW 6.72 and remain even on official last FW 6.80.
I took ticket last week at garmin support last week, but till now - without any answer.
I don't know what to do...
In one week I will return the watch because of its incompatibility to Garmin Connect.
Unknow Device is one of the issue, the most annoying are phantom activities - 20-30 per day.
Just started to today for me. Lot's of phantom activities with pieces of limited data that for the most part doesn't make sense (like running 99KM in 13 minutes). As much as i wanted to keep that PB....
