Weight from Withings into Garmin Connect

Hi,

I have a Whitings scale (choose that one as the Garmin one was slightly more expensive and lacked of features) and I would love to sync my weight with Garmin Connect automatically.

I've connected Withings to MyFitnessPal app, and MFP to GC, but the weight is not synced (it is between Withings and MFP).
I'm on Android, if it helps.

Has anyone successfully managed to do that? If so, how?

    This seems to have been broken for about two months now. I am disappointed by this as well, and actually just logged on to the forums to see if I can learn anything new about the issue.

    For me, I can get it to sync one time if I disconnect and reconnect MFP in the GC app, but it only works once. I guess it's time for everyone to start submitting support tickets, to hopefully get this fixed.

    When I bought my scale a couple of months ago, Garmin had not announced the scale yet, so I will be very disappointed if they decide to deprecate syncing weight with MFP.

    I bought and connected a Withings Smart scale five days ago and so far the data is getting through to GC fine.

    Aside from linking the accounts much like you have done I don't think I've done anything else special:confused:

    That's encouraging. I've found another thread about MFP / GC, where there was a suggestion to disconnect the accounts from the MFP side and then reconnect. I've tried that, so we'll see if that will help.

    So far no luck. I even deleted both apps (GC and MFP) from my phone after disconnecting the two from both ends. Even after a re-install it only worked the one time :(.

    Ok, so I've removed the MFP <> GC connection. And then reconnected GC from MFP.

    The last 4 days of weighing went in. But then, it seems to have not synced ...

    So, it looks like every 4 days, I will have to reconnect ... :-(

    I guess Garmin will blame MyFitenssPal and vice versa.

    If I wrote a program to link Withings weight to garmin connect would people pay for it? Might do this as I'm also frustrated by the lack of integration.

    Ok I now have a script that runs daily and uploads Body Weight, % Fat, % Water, Bone Mass, and Muscle Mass from my withings scale to garmin connect. If others are interested I will bundle it up and sell.

    renschler I would be interested. I have a simple script that I can't get to work automatically and does only sync weight and fat mass... I am really curious how you got it it work.
