Training Zones now gone from Garmin Connect!?

So yesterday when I opened Garmin Connect I did the suggested update and now when I wander to the training zones section I can no longer see any information or make any edits there. Under "settings" I select "training zones" as before only once there there is simply a sentence that says "Heart rate and power training zones can be managed within device settings," with "device settings" as a link and nothing else. I select the device settings link offered and it takes me to a page that just checks as to whether or not the fenix 2 software on the watch is up to date with no other options here but to download manuals.

I just did a heart rate time trial test this morning so I could gain accurate HR numbers and now I cannot find any way to input them! Any help please!!??

    Update:

    I did end up contacting Garmin support and got back the following response:

    Thank you for contacting Garmin International. I am sorry to hear that you are unable to adjust your Training Zones in Connect. I am happy to help.

    This seems to be a new issue that I was able to duplicate it here with another Fenix 2. It appears to be a Garmin Connect issue, possibly related to a site update, and I have created a case to alert the engineers about it. As a few of us here were able to replicate the issue we probably won’t need any additional information, but if we do, the engineers might want more information from you. They may wish to email you.


    I suppose I am relieved to know that my situation is not isolated but it sounds like it could be a while before the fix.

    Glad to hear that you have made some progress with Garmin, but, as you say, you may have to wait a while for a solution. ( I have been in contact with Garmin regarding another problem for over 2 months without them finding a solution1)

    For those of you interested here is my response that just came in from Garmin:

    You will not be able to change your HR zones in Garmin Connect and send them to the device. You can only change zones on the device itself. Please go to Sensors, Heart Rate and HR zones to change any HR zones that need to be adjusted.

    We will be closing your case at this time.

    Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.


    So there it is. Obviously this is a less then satisfying result especially considering that for the 1st week I had the watch I could use Garmin Connect to setup all the HR zones until an "update" came along.

    Oh well...
