Add new balance to gear options! :) I can’t add any of my running shoes.

  • The steps view ( 1 day , 7 days , 4 weeks, 1 year) is not well configured. For instance , if I click in the view “ 1year” and I scroll down I will see the subtotals of weeks and not from the months of the year view.

  • Please add an option in the app to manipulate the status and duration of the in-workout interval countdown timer instead of just taking it away completely. It was immensely helpful to some of us!

  • Return the newsfeed to it’s original form. Get rid of the maps and excess noise on the front page if newsfeed.

  • (automatic) elevation correction : for devices without barometers (or with sensor malfunction)

Currently this function is limited to the garmin connect web application

  • A stand-alone app for Mac/Windows/Linux with saving of data without cloud and the need of a Garmin account.

  • I'd like to be able to see the battery charge after last sync from the phone app.

Scenario: I'm falling asleep at night, preparing to dream of my morning ride... and then... struggling to remember when was the last time I charged that device, was it at 80% or 20% after my last ride?  If I could check the phone, I probably wouldn't even have to get out of bed :)  I understand that the charge can still drop, so it might only be 79% when I wake, but sleep mode is pretty good and the phone tells me how long it's been since my last ride :)

  • Can you add the option to count bike rides (and other activities) towards steps for the day. Fitbit seems to do this quite easily.

  • Add in the percour creator the habilit to establish a power plan to this course similar to pacepro to run

  • You will not get many steps for a bike ride anyway since the watch is pretty stationary. I use Edge 1030 for biking and got my FR945 on my wrist. During road cycling there are no steps logged. During mountainbiking I get a few due to bumpy terrain and when I need to do some push biking, but it is very very few steps. You need to do 10 consecutive steps for the step counter to start counting and most often you will not pass that threshold.

You can already count steps on biking today. Just log the activity as anything but cycling and then change the activity type in Garmin Connect to cycling after save and sync.

There is also a trick if you want many steps during a bike ride and that is to put the watch on your ankle, but do not start a bike activity. Best is if you use a second device like an Edge to track the bike ride.

    Other activities already count steps.
