Editing sleep times has incorrect times

If you try to edit sleep times, the start and end times are incorrect.  Appear to be in GMT instead of local time.

  • Indeed like 4849268 says.

On website GarminConnect the times are correct.
On my Iphone you see in the graph the correct time. When you like to edit the time, it's in UTC. See images.

  • Same but for several weeks. As of today when I edit the end date it just moved to the start date earlier.

  • Kinda on subject, but why do we all have to adjust the sleep start / stop regularly?  Is that a problem, or a feature?

    • For me it is frequently wrong especially when laying in bed awake but scrolling/watching TV. Relaxed but not asleep.
  • Often my watch isn't that accurate at detecting when I'm actually awake (it thinks that I'm still asleep even though I'm already awake but relatively still whilst reading/scrolling in bed). So then I have to edit my wake time (if I can gauge/remember it). On days when I do jump out of bed immediately upon waking though, I usually don't need to edit the times. But this recent glitch that we're all experiencing shouldn't be occurring anyway and should be fixed by Garmin (whether we ever need to edit our sleep/wake times or not). Hope that explains at least my reason for needing to use the edit feature.

  • Same here, everything looks correct EXCEPT the edit sleep times screen on the app. iphone

  • I think because it's not correct :-)
For me: rising up time is most times ok, but the starttime is very often incorrect. Or it starts already while just watching tv, or two hours too late, while I'm already sleeping in bed.

  • I have the exact same problem with start and end times being wrong when I try to edit. Not sure when it started. As far as accurate tracking, my wake time is almost always correct, but often my bedtime shows starting a couple hours AFTER I have gone to sleep.

  • I have the same issue. Times are off by 7hrs. I am in Thailand but my account is set to Germany, maybe this could be the issue? However I would expect it to use the current timezone. Also it would not explain why it's 7 hours.

  • Hi. My watch is also doing this, but when I try to edit the times it is going completely wrong for both sleep time and wake time. Please can you let me know how to fix this? Anna.
