Is there a way to set an interval to pace a swim without hitting any buttons. Doing a 400 and want it to buzz every 1.10 so I can judge my position to my target 400 time of 4.40. Can't hit the lap button as a continuous 400 swim but hoping to use as a pacer. Fenix 6s

I did not test it, but what about using a Workout with 4 repetitions of a step with 1:10 time target? Something in the following way:

You could also do it 8×35s step or 16×17.5s (depending on the pool length), in order to have the beep at (or near) each turn

Thanks, set this (just 10sec test) but need to hit the lap button every interval or doesn't buzz. Any ideas?

Yes, I just tried it too, you are right. I am afraid you cannot change the behavior. Another possibility would be using the "Custom" type of workout. You would have to select another sport (for example Snorkel, or another one from the category Other) for recording the swim, and then changing it to Pool Swim later in Garmin Connect. You'd still miss some of the swim-specific metrics though.

And you can also just use the standard Timer set to 1:10 with the Auto-Repeat option enabled.
