Garmin Connect Mobile Updated Home Page

It’s terrible.

  • Which Apple device offers the same functionality as an Epix or a Forerunner? How often do you need to charge your Apple device when you track 2-3 hours of activities per day?

You know how the Health app looks like and that Garmin basically copied it, right?

  • I do not like it. I have to wait anywhere from 2 hours to a full day before I see my daily activity on the Home page. I know I can see it in the News Feed. I shouldn’t have to go there to see it; especially since Garmin says it should show up instantly.

    1. Hello Garmin Corporate!!! Are you seeing these posts.
  • I got the Garmin I now have over five years ago. How is that for “new” and, why should that make a difference. The old version of the app was much easier to maneuver and, much easier to use. Once again, you seem to be the only one here that likes the new version. Are you going to give condescending replies to all of us? You seem to think your opinion matters more than the rest of us. We’ll see how Garmin feels about it when they start losing customers.

  • It is awful! Not an easy at-a- glance summary of all tracked stats compared to the old one and with less useful data. Terrible user interface and not easy to find what you want. I can’t seem to find how to enter  manually activities that I track with my heart monitor (since my Garmin does a lousy job of picking up my heart rate accurately when doing cardio). Please provide us with option to use the old Home Screen. I might just abandon Garmin altogether if not.

  • It’s the most awful update and, as everyone else says, we need to be able to revert back to the previous one which was a clear and attractive format. I don’t really want to use mine anymore. Garmin - what were you thinking?

  • No. It sucks. Previous was much easier to see everything.

  • New update forced upon us sucks. To much scrolling. Old was very concise and displayed what I wanted on one screen. I can’t find anything now.

  • But I own a Fenix... (at the moment!). Its battery is slowly weakening, and it has never counted floors consistently, which as a 73 non-sportsman who wants to track his general health and activities is important. Apple here I come, as it offer lots of other (non-activity related) over Garmin
