Garmin Connect Mobile Updated Home Page

It’s terrible.

  • I agree - absolutely hate the new app.  I've been a Garmin user for years purchasing multiple devices because of how user friendly and intuitive their app/home page was.  Unfortunately, if they don't allow us to revert back to the old version (and soon), I'll be shopping for something else.

  • I’m moving to Apple.
Goodbye Garmin. You should have chexpect it out with your users first

I'm just wondering what you'll do as soon as you realize that Apple doesn't do everything the way you want it to.

I'm curious to see if Apple responds when I tell them that I'd like to have the flight mode switch on the bottom right instead of the top left Wink

  • Wondering if the peons who designed the new UI downgrade actual athletes or people who uses their Garmin watch to measure their life or are you just techies who are enamored by moremoremore? was there actual Alpha and beta testing with real users? Do you work for Microsoft because this sure seems like their kind of over complication of central functions for no good reason. More scrolling, more clicking, more silos to get less information that’s useful. Most of us who monitor our health have learned that 7 day and 4 week averages are what matter for training, stamina, and general health. I’ve also lost what appears to be months of data in my iOS app. So, for the first time in five years of Garmin forerunner 945 ownership and usage, I am so unhappy I will now be buying an iWatch. Nice work, Garmin!

  • Won’t buy another. I was just about ready to update. Will not now!

  • why not just give an option to use the old dashboard?

I would also like Garmin to respond. Seems so easy to give us a way to return to the original dash,  like when we beta tested the new dashboard, i could revert to the original look, which i did with one click.

i prefer more data on the home screen w/o scrolling so much, i also liked the more vibrant colors. Cosmetic dislikes only. The list vs. tile is more appealing to me.

  • We don’t care about what your favorite “professional gear testers” think. We have our own opinions on the new app and, from what I’ve seen, you’re the only one who doesn’t think it sucks. What pisses me off the most is, Garmin’s lack of response to 99.9% of their products users when we say we don’t like the new app. I’m looking at alternatives to Garmin and, if they don’t act soon, I’ll be buying another company’s gear. That’s how much I hate the new app.

Then just do it. We don't care about that either. Wink

You are welcome to give feedback as to whether your alternative provider is more considerate of you.

How long have you been using Garmin devices? In any case, you seem to be new here. How can you know that?
