MyWhoosh cycling app is similar to Zwift and is getting popular. I would like to know when MyWhoosh is going to be able to connect to Garmin Connect.

You can connect the sensors of your indoor bike directly to your Garmin device (or to the Tacx app), regardless which app you use for the virtual ride. The HR, cadence, speed, and power is all what Garmin needs to record your rides, and to calculate all relevant metrics. No need to connect it with My Whoosh. But if you prefer having the app connected anyway, ask MyWhoosh to write their interface and interconnect it with Garmin's. On Garmin's side it is already done and used by many other 3rd party apps.
Thanks very much for your response. I've contacted MyWhoosh support and just waiting for their response. I do have my Garmin watch also record my rides so I'm aware that the ride shows up in Garmin Connect that way but one thing I don't understand that even with Zwift, my mileage recorded by my watch is always a lot less than what shows up in the app. Any idea why? Thanks.

Possibly because you did not calibrate the speed (& distance) sensor on the watch.
Thanks again. I will look into that between my watch and Tacx Neo 2T trainer.
You could also record the rides with the Tacx Training app, instead of using the watch for the recording (while you can continue controlling the trainer by MyWhoosh). No subscription is needed for that.
Thank you. You're very helpful!
Not super convenient but you can download the*.fit-file from the MyWhoosh web site of the the specific activity and import it into Garmin Connect. Contains all the data.
Thanks, will try that out.
