MyWhoosh cycling app is similar to Zwift and is getting popular. I would like to know when MyWhoosh is going to be able to connect to Garmin Connect.

ask MyWhoosh to write their interface and interconnect it with Garmin's
I asked to MyWhoosh and the reply was:
"I am sorry but Garmin will not work with us so it wont be coming anytime soon. Apologies."
I will try your workaround, thx.
I have my rides downloaded to Strava, from an open file I tap the 3 dots and export GPX. Then in Garmin connect all activities I import the file. Usually I do this in batches of 3or 4 workouts. I like to get my trainer rides into Garmin so I don’t get the “detraining” message. I get basic data, not getting power data. I just did a Export Original and got power data and cadence

BTW, on my mind it is nonsense and not true - there are countless of 3rd parties who send their activities to Garmin Connect without any problems. All they need to do is requesting the access to Garmin's API, and developing their side of the interface.
I was fed up waiting so I created a script for it. Free to use at https://github.com/JayQueue/MyWhoosh2Garmin
+1 for when a native connection will be available from MyWhoosh -> Garmin Connect
After so much time today I decided to try MyWhoosh again and I remembered this thread.

Yes, it is possible, I don't know, each company has its own tricks and objectives.
Not super convenient but you can download the*.fit-file from the MyWhoosh web site of the the specific activity and import it into Garmin Connect. Contains all the data.
Yes, thank you very much. Today I did that simple thing that I don't know if it's because it hadn't worked for me before. I downloaded the file, uploaded it to Garmin and everything was perfect. It even said that I used a ¿Garmin Edge device??? It's not a problem anyway.

I've noticed only one difference in the test I did on the Avg Power of 216W (Garmin) vs 220.85W (MyWhoosh), it's not that big either. Is this what you mean by what the script corrects? I didn't use it anyway because I could easily upload it directly to Garmin. Thank you very much!

Well, it is true. Garmin controls the integration API and are not allowing new integrations. Training Peaks Virtual has stated the same as MyWhoosh, that it is a Garmin thing. This is the top request on the TPV user request forum as well, BTW.

They should ask Zwift, Rouvy, TrainerRoad, Concept2, Sufferfest, SYSTM, or Wahoo how they did it that their data is accepted by Garmin, and then do alike.
You are not understanding the issue. Both MyWhoosh and TP Virtual HAVE reached out to Garmin and Garmin said no. Garmin has told these newer companies that they are no longer accepting 3rd party integrations.
That's exactly why I am telling they should speak to the other 3rd party apps that recently got the full access to the API, and ask them how they achieved it. Apparently Garmin cooperates with more and more 3rd party apps, since the list is continuously adding new names on it, so it definitely does not look like the access is closed for newcomers.
