Body Battery

I’m using the updated Garmin Connect app on my iPhone XR with the Instinct watch. The body battery numbers on the 7d and 4w views only show briefly, then it disappears. This only started happening in the last couple days.

  • I’ve also noticed this after the latest Garmin Connect update. When looking at certain data on the Connect app (specifically Body Battery, Sleep and Respiration) when I click on data points on the graph to see details, the white box that pops up shows a quick flash with the data the goes blank/white. In the other categories (Heart Rate, Stress, etc.) the box that pops up is still grey with white font and I’m able to click and drag my finger along the graph to see data at different times.
The timing of this issue seems to correspond with the latest update so I’m guessing it’s a glitch in the latest update and hopefully will be resolved in a future update.

  • same - new "tiles" pulse and then show no data. Heart beat tile shows graph and current HR, but clicking on the tile shows no data for weeks in the detail view.

  • This is reported to Garmin support last week. I noticed this as well + crashing of the app when in body battery when opening activities. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. There’s a thread about this on the forums. forums.garmin.com/.../clicking-on-an-activity-factor-inside-body-battery-crashes-connect

When your phone is in dark mode, the cards have all the info and the grey colour when you tap and hold. So I use that as a workaround!

  • Watch will not pair or sync as well. Is this issue being addressed by Garmin??
