Menstrual cycle info vanished

I’ve been tracking my menstrual cycle for over a year bbut over the past couple of weeks, it keeps dropping off my dashboard and deleting the information. It’s really frustrating as incredibly important information that effects my training.

Please could someone look into it - this information matters to female users and I’ve seen it’s happening to lots of women.

Thanks, Annalise

  • Mine has been doing this too. And a couple of times when it disappears it then pops up with a ‘reminder’ to set it up! The really frustrating thing is that it asks when my last period started…well that was logged in Garmin sooooooo. If I have to write it down on paper for every time that Garmin insists I set it up AGAIN, I may as well just stick to paper.
The most recent time this happened (just now), it started asking about contraception but NOT about HRT, so then provided details about fertility. Which I really don’t want, and isn’t pertinent as I am using HRT. I did have that logged before so don’t know why it now wants to only look at fertility.

  • The same happened to me. It is very frustrating. I had the information for a long time and now I lost it. Please, can someone fix it! Thanks

  • This keeps happening to me as well it seems to be happening more frequently.  I don’t think Garmin can use this as a feature as it appears to be completely unreliable and I have been asked to set it up again after it has dropped off and I can remember the date of my last cycle .  I was relying on the Garmin info!  Garmin please fix or get rid of this feature and stop saying you have it as one as we (biological female) users can’t use it if it keeps dropping off!

  • It has been an issue since the update, there is another thread that says it was fixed but clearly not. My card said error cannot load from the first day the update dropped and never resolved. I was lucky that all the data was stored in apple health so I just use that now but it’s a huge fail on the part of Garmin. They advertise it as a feature in all of their products it should work or as you say - remove it. We rely on this information.

  • This also happened to me. I used to write my period dates in paper calendar but when Garmin served this opportunity - I no longer use paper and log the dates in Garmin App. Now I lost everything - how can I get t back? These are very important to me specially last year... Where should I report this issue?

  • You can contact Garmin Support. The link is on the main page of the iOS threads on the right side.

  • I’m also experiencing this issue. I’ve had to set it up twice today alone.
I have resorted to using a different tracker as the is unreliable and frustrating. Shame as it it’s critical training info.

  • Same here. It keeps asking to set it up. Can see past cycles, but keeps asking 'get started' to add new data.

  • I have the same issue, I have to configure it twice a week Disappointed relieved it’s very annoying

  • So frustrating and annoying. It has happened to me too for the last six months too.  It really makes me consider leaving Garmin for good.
