New bought garmin vivoactive hr blue tooth not working

I searched and found [Vivoactive HR bluetooth not working - Garmin Connect Mobile iOS - Mobile Apps & Web - Garmin Forums] about five years ago post on this fourm

I recently bought a type of garmin vivoactive hr from ebay website

When I set it up for first time I found the blue tooth was allowing to connect to the Garmin connect app, but then now I cannot seem to connect the watch to the - to my blue tooth on iphone, have tried switching off/on (or restarting ) the watch and phone but cannot seem to get blue tooth to work

Do you (person reading) have any ideas of what I can do to get blue tooth to work properly on this second hand watch? Or do you think maybe something is actually wrong with it (due to it being older watch now - maybe it is broken? That would frustrate me having recently bought it from a user on ebay with no returns ...

Thanks for reading, would be grate ful for any suggestions, please help

truxThanks for quick response back - I looked at that web link you sent (same link which gets given when trying to pair up using the app) and still haven't been able to get it to connect right now- am waiting will see if just takes longer time

When first used it - clicked on app trying to pair device to bluetooth, clicked on HR device and I think it connected in very short time , like small amount of seconds, so am not sure what has gone wrong, maybe should try to contact the garmin help service on website ...

If you've done everything recommended in the video, that would be my suggestion. If possible, use the chat or call feature, as the email exchanges could be time consuming.

Thanks, I was able to use the garmin help line and a person was able to chat to me to sort out my blue tooth about an hour of trying things, now I seem to have a problem with it where pre set or pre made alarms (on the alarm section) are not working wen switched and was thinking of making a new thread in this fourms

If it's related to the Garmin Connect iOS app, then you should do that.
