Vivoactive HR bluetooth not working

I have a Garmin Vivoactive HR watch. The bluetooth is not working. Cannot be seen by my Iphone 6plus. I tested also on the Iphone 8plus but still the same -is not visible. The message on the watch is Searching for Garmin Connect mobile. But nothing is happening. I made a total reset of the watch according to instructions and restore defaults, but situation is the same- the watch cannot be seen by the phone.
Any advice, what to do next?
Thank you for any kind of help!
  • I’m having a similar problem with my Vivoactive HR. I deleted the Connect app on my iPhone X and reinstalled it. I still can’t get it to connect. It will connect to my iPad and my old iPhone. For a few days, it wouldn’t store the data and wouldn’t show any sleep data, but that seems to have resolved. I just updated to the latest iOS, then deleted and reinstalled the Connect app again and it still won’t pair with my Garmin.

I delete the app on the Iphone and reinstalled again. Than I tried to sincronize one more time and it worked.
    thank you for your help.!
  • Settings/Bluetooth Off - Power Off - Power On - Bluetooth On
  • i’m also having problems with the vivoactive HR stopping working and not syncing. This happens every day or two. Maybe more often when the heart rate feature is on. The Bluetooth on off and restart noted in the post above usually works, But not always. tsometimes I also have to turn off the iPhone 6S Bluetooth. I’ve also had to reset everything at one point both Garman connect app and fully reset the watch. This seems like a firmware issue to me. Does anyone know if there’s going to be another firmware fix?
