Minutes intensive training with tacx training app

Hello, I recently started training with tacx using the tacx training app. When I have completed a training, I see the training in the Garmin Connect app. However, the tacx training is not regarded as intensive minutes. I've been waiting for it for two weeks now. The number of intensive minutes of training is not corrected. What goes wrong here? I have a goal per week and I would like to keep track of it. You'd expect both to be Garmin's apps that the data would stay the same. Does anyone recognize this problem or know a solution? Thank you in advance!

  • saving or discarding the activity should play no role (at least it is so, on watches), but try saving the activity on Edge, instead of discarding, and then deleting it once synced

Saving the activity on Edge 1040 and later deleting it in Connect works fine for the Intensity minutes - then they get counted for the activity tracked in parallel using Tacx Training App. The only downside is this affects the active Connect cycling challenges - the last activity gest counted twice into distance and time based challenges. However, the deleted rides don't accumulate - upon next ride, the previously deleted one is omitted from the challenges and only the last one gets counted twice. So this is a solid workaround.

  • You do not need to save the activity in order to get Intensity Minutes counted with higher accuracy during recording the activity. Simply discard the activity on ne device before saving. It will avoid any duplicate mileage for challenges.

Strangely, this works on the watch, but does not work on Edge. On the Edge, when discarding the activity without saving, IMs don't get counted for the parallel activity tracked in Tacx Training App. When doing the same on Epix watch, Tacx activity gets the IMs.
