Are the map overlays removed in training courses map?

i.e. km markers & satellite overlays. I seem to remember there was this option in the past. somewhere in the corner of the map there was this overlay icon. and once I tap on it at the bottom I could set km markers or satellite map on or off.

I am on IOS app version 4.52.0.21 now.

Today (March 29th 2022) Garmin released an update for the Garmin Connect app on Apple App Store version 4,53 in which Garmin thankfully repaired the broken Map-layers feature

We have some other reports on this and are currently investigating these reports. When we know more on this, I will be sure to update this thread. Thank you for your patience while we look into this further.

Thanks Garmin-Kevin with the last version 4.53 the map layer is back but there is still a problem at the bottom on the screen on my iPhone 12 Pro Max with ios 15.4
