Won’t reconnect after changing batteries

I‘be just changed the batteries on my VIVO Fit 4 after they went flat a couple of days ago.  Now it won’t reconnect with my iPhone. It finds my device, but doesn’t complete the setup, so I can’t sync it or do anything with it. The step counter is still working, but still on the day that it went flat. There’s no calendar, or other features on the watch now, just the step counter. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my phone, but still nothing happens. 
Please help!!
