Pairing Garmin vivofit4 With iPhone after replacing batteries.

Have tried every Garmin help suggestions re: pairing vivofit 4 after changing batteries. It finds my device but then pairing fails. Bluetooth is working for other devices like hearing aids. Have tried turning Bluetooth off and on, iPhone off and on and resetting IPhone WiFi connection to factory settings. Device started to lose time in days preceding battery change. It would pair and restore correct time. Then it stopped pairing all together.

Vivofit 4 cannot be turned off. Any idea what else I can try?

There might be a problem with how it is paired. Follow these directions.

Also go through the process of pairing your computer using Garmin Express.

I am having the same problem now, but the video reply of the other person is private. I have tried uninstalling the app on my phone, but still having the same issue. The step count is working, but still on the same day as when the batteries went flat - several days ago now. It finds my device, but then that’s as far as it will go.
Please help!!
