Connect app incompatible with iPhone 15.2

My VivoSmart4 will not maintain connection with my Garmin Connect app since iPhone upgraded to 15.2 yesterday. Help! This is frustrating. I did update the app but it’s no help

  • The reset didn’t solve the issue

  • Yes re-set did nothing. This stinks. What is the point of having a wearable when it will not stay connected to your phone. It ALWAYS falls off from being connected. I've updated the Garmin Connect app, removed the device from my Bluetooth, re-started the phone. I hope this will be fixed (because I otherwise like my Garmin) but with this connectivity problem I will not be buying another device unless this is remedied.

  • I have the same issue with my Vivosport (will not maintain connection with my Garmin Connect app on iPhone), I must open the app in order to get it to sync. as it will not sync automatically (on ios 15.3). This is very frustrating. I have disconnected & reconnected, done all the resets, and spent way too many hours looking at forums or the Internet for a solution. I would really like to see a real fix to this bug from Garmin. I just switched to an iPhone mobile device this month from an Android mobile device and never experienced issues with my Android device and using the Garmin daily. Is the 'fix' to get an Apple Watch? ;-/

  • Same problem here. Garmin 6 X Pro with 20.30 (latest update from Garmin) and IOs 15.3 notifications are not shown!!!!

I DO NOT recommend to upadate IOS 15.3 till new updates from Garmin !!!!!

  • I’m the original poster. Thank goodness Garmin fixed the app. My VivoFit4 now stays connected to Garmin Connect! Hooray.
