Move IQ duplicating tracked activities

I have just got a venu 2s after upgrading from a 4s to a venu and now this watch. It’s my third GAr in and I’ve never come across this issue with any of my previous watches.
I have Move IQ activated on my app but it is duplicating my tracked activities so when I do a run and use my run function on my venu 2, Move IQ tracks the activity as well and doubles my intensity minutes. Very annoying if you want accurate intensity minutes.
Has this happened to anyone else and to you know how to fix it? I have Move IQ turned off for now but I would like to be able to use this function when I’m not tracking my activity.

Yup me too. Forerunner 245. I'm just deleting the move iq duplicates as I go but it's going to get old quite quickly.

Why not just turn off Move IQ?

For some reason even when I delete the move iq event it still shows the same intensity minutes...does u r does it too?

Yes mine does exactly the same if I delete the move iq activity. The only way I have found to get around it is to turn off the move iq function which is a shame because I like that function.

Is this issue solved by now? I also like using Move IQ because it tracks my cycling commutes... But I would not want to have duplicate intensity minutes.

Same here with my new Venu 2, having an intensity goal is impossible when it is calculated twice during logged activity. I prefer to have the activity IQ turned on as I have had on my 3 previous devices from Garmin.

I have the same issue. 245 music. Duplicates some activities, erroneously creates others. Deleting move iq doesn’t delete IM. Frustrating.

I have a Fenix 6s and have noticed this problem over the last week. Never an issue before.

I got the fenix 7X and it’s continuing to do the same thing. What kind of sucks is that it duplicates the mileage for the day so if I run 1.5 miles, it’ll think it’s 3 miles for the day so at the week I “ran” twice the amount I actually did. I don’t turn off move IQ because I believe it gives extra feedback but I forgot what specifically.
