My run will not appear on my phone app.

I see my run on my watch and when I sign in on my computer but it will not appear on my phone app and won't send to Strava.  I have syched but that doesn't seem to work either?  As well, the changes I make on the computer when signed in do not synch with the app on my iphone.  Please help.

  • Are saying you see your run on Garmin Connect Web but not on the iOS app? Are you using the same account for both Garmin Connect Web and the Garmin Connect iOS app? If you're sure, then read on...

    If you have a Windows computer (different process for Mac), connect your Garmin device via the Garmin USB cable to your computer then in file explorer the mapped drive will typically be "D:\GARMIN." Your activities should be in the folder "D:\GARMIN\ACTIVITY." Look for the problematic .fit file. You should be able to locate the file based on the date. Then drag and drop the file onto this page - Import Data

    If the import is successful, you should see the message  Import Complete. If you see any other message, please zip the FIT file and add it to a reply post on this thread. We will then be able to take a look at the file and see if it is repairable.

    I tried what you suggested but it says that my activity is already loaded.  I tried Synching my iPhone again and my runs are still not showing up.  Any other suggestions of what it could be>

  • So if it says "activity already loaded," then check your activities on Garmin Connect Web here - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities

    It should be listed. This also supports the fact that you probably have logged into the iOS Connect app with a different account than the account you're using for Garmin Connect Web. Garmin Connect Web and the Connect Mobile app are pulling the same data, so the only way it would be different is if you have logged in with a different account.     Is there a toll free number of someone I can talk to or a chat option? Now I notice that Garmin Connect Web is missing my last run but the Garmin app has recorded it. I can't figure out how to check to see which account is associated with the Web and which is associated with the App.  There is no consistency as to what is being recorded on the App and what is going to the Web.  Having someone actually walk me thought this would be greatly apprecaited.

    Yes. Start with going to the Garmin Support Center. From there, after putting in your product, there should be options to chat or call near the bottom of the page, depending on your location.

    Hi there- I’m having this same problem. I followed your prompts and received the “we don’t support the file type you tried to import” message. Wondering where to go from here. Thank you!

    Former Member, zip the FIT file and attach it to a reply post on this thread. We will take a look at it to see if it is repairable.

    I'm trying, using the "insert image/video/file" function but its not working...

  • Insert >> Insert image/video/file

    Change the From dropdown to File Upload

    Click Browse to locate the zip file on your computer. Double-click the zip file. After you see the green Uploaded message, click OK

    Then click the Reply button

    Thanks, I tried a few times. after clicking Reply, I get a box that says "An error occurred. Please try again or contact your administrator."
