Hello Everyone, I wanted to let you know that this has been resolved in a recent update to the Garmin Connect App (4.29.2) and you should be able to download the update in the next few hours.
I just talked to the german hotline. There are already 11 tasks about this issue worldwide. I will be added to this list as well. The more you report to the hotline about this issue, the faster the problem…
What is going on?
Same issue.
App starts, garmin connect splash screen, then black screen. Has worked fine for years and stopped working Monday.
Iphone XS Max IOS13.4.1
Deleted and reinstalled app (on reinstall asks permissed for bluetooth and either allow or disallow same behaviour experienced above)
Forgotten watch from bluetooth settings same behaviour experienced. Watch also now not able to connect/ setup to iPhone via Bluetooth (due to app behaviour)
Soft reset with and without the app installed, with and without bluetooth on. Same behaviour experienced.
Hard reset with app deleted. Reinstalled. Same behaviour.
Contacted Garmin support for resolution. None. Suggested Apple.
Contacted Apple. Did delete app, reset settings (not full reset), reinstalled same behaviour.
Apple tech found this thread.

Thank goodness - I've got the same problem and I love my Garmin Connect - hope you fix it soon.
I am in the same boat as I only have a black screen. Looking forward to a fix.
