Livetrack - Can’t enter contact?

Trying to start livetrack but can’t even enter a contact name. every time I try to add whether it’s manually or from my contact list it says network connection error. I tried both on WiFi and LTE. Any recommendations on how to fix?

Yes, i have exactly the same problem - trying to set up contacts for livetrack on my Forerunner 245. I can enter the contact details but it doesn't allow me to finish the action and instead gives me an error No network Connection. have tried everything from reloading Garmin Connect to resyncing my device to changing all the contact preferences on my iphone to ALL, etc etc.
