vivosmart 4 syncing issues

My vivosmart 4 is not syncing unless I turn off and on bluetooth......it shows steps in daily screen but not as recorded workouts nor in challenges. Why when I remove the app from my iphone and reinstall, I cannot log in as the same profile, have to set up new id and all previous data is lost?  Some serious issues that need fixing

  • Same problem with me too. Haven't been able to sync at all since mid November!

I am on my second one.  Still looses intensity minutes and floors.  Wish it would work- I like the phone app and metrics.  Trying out a Fitbit inspire HR.  Ready to send vivosmart4 back unless Garmin offers fix in the next week or two

To be honest, there is no garmin support, when you email or try to call....no reponse, I’m over the hastle of plugging into PC daily to sync for info, I will be packing back upin its little box and returning to JB for a refund, when I had a fitbit, they have online chat, I had an issue with mine years ago they admitted there was a problem  and sent a new one in the mail no questions asked,

I have also noticed I cannot start a walk from the unit either, says use phone gps, never got asked that before always started and recorded

I have the same, I was wondering if I was the only one. Apparently not. If you click the X for not wanting gps, you cannot record your walk. If you do want to use gps, it takes forever to get your phone to sync.

Mine seems to be syncing for a day, sometimes more and then it needs to be connected to the charger for it to “wake up” and start syncing again.
I’ve noticed strange recordings in sleep times (starting before 8pm for example). If I adjust my sleep starting and finish time, then next time it syncs it goes back to the 8pm-ish time. Stubborn!

My HR goes up to 130, 170 even, when I walk, but during a high intensity workout it stays at 95. Useless.

Stairs/elevation seems to be going crazy too. I live in the flattest country in the world, but just by walking outside I can reach my stair goals.

I don’t expect the world from an activity tracker but some decent and timeless responses to product issues of this size are not too much to ask imho.
