vivosmart 4 syncing issues

My vivosmart 4 is not syncing unless I turn off and on bluetooth......it shows steps in daily screen but not as recorded workouts nor in challenges. Why when I remove the app from my iphone and reinstall, I cannot log in as the same profile, have to set up new id and all previous data is lost? Some serious issues that need fixing

Same here big problems with syncing, but mine wouldn't sync before i charged it fully and then it only synced once.

App claims

"Sync Failed" Device connection error..

done the forget device & reinstall app routine but that didn't help

I found that my v4 will not connect about every 4 days. If I connect to power, it will then connect. Seems to work OK, but will it last? Time to fix this!

Same issue - won’t sync fully - I see the complete steps, activities, stairs on my watch but it won’t sync to my iPhone.

Similar issues. Can share and sync to phone but can not view stats over the day as keeps saying not synced and will not sync for gps for walk activity

Having the exact same issue, won't sync. Have tried restarting, reinstalling, and all that jazz, nothing.

Same issue today - will not sync via connect app on iPhone. Gives network error issue for Vivosmart 4 but my Felix 5X syncs without issue. Removed and reinstalled Vivismart 4 in the app (tried to at least) but will not fully add in the app due to sync (network) issue. Really poor Garmin connect app and connectivity

My watch got an update 2 days ago and then it stopped syncing. It’s really annoying as my vitality app isn’t giving me points for workouts

Finally able to sort out the syncing issue with the Vivosmart 4 by plugging it into my laptop. I'm not sure why or how that seemed to do the trick but I hope it works for the rest of you too.

Thanks, yes, managed to do that and got it to sync, but now not recording or showing workouts or steps in challenges, hit the 100k and it only showed 87k, didnt grab steps from last 2 days, get one thing going and another issue pops up

Yes, this worked for today but yesterday's score remains a mystery! The numbers came up on the device but not on the Connect app. I swear this is the last Garmin I buy - it has been nothing but trouble.
