Every time I restart my phone I have to Login In and Reconnect Devices

Running iOS 13.2.2. Connect App is updated to 4.24.2.2.

For the last week every time I turn on my iPhone I have to re-Log In to Connect and reconnect all my devices (Fenix 5x & Vivosport.) Is this an issue with a Garmin update or a Apple Update? I have deleted the App and re-installed it. Still the same issue.

  • Just updated to 4.26 and rebooted.  Did not have to set up my VA4 again!  Woot!

No luck here, just purchased today. Don't get notifications on my watch even though Ive gone through all the steps. Also every-time I restart my phone I have to reset up watch and now it's not even seeing my phone!!!!

  • Still same connection problem. They didn’t fix it.

    Hi.

    Try this:

Before the restart put wifi and Bluetooth in off mode, than restart your device.

With me not re-login with garmin device in this way.

    Regards

Same with me. Did the GC update and still the same connection issue.

COME ON GARMIN. FIX THIS OR AT LEAST GIVE US AN UPDATE!

  • No luck for me either, app keeps asking for same old stupid information and to register devices  - after reboot and latest firm and software updates.

I've got an old Fenix 3 and have to log in every day on the apple app. I'm been thinking about upgrading but at this rate I'll throw the watch in the bin and buy a Fitbit. Garmin are going to lose a lot of money if they don't fix this soon.

Don't they have cookies to keep data?

Not only does it now make be re-login if I shut my phone off, it seems to have wiped 2 years worth of training data....

Anyone else lose their history? I feel like it has to be in my account somewhere, but everything is up to date and synced and no evidence of anything I did before this can be found - on the ap, or website. There is some older data on the watch history, but it skips large chunks of years.
