Every time I restart my phone I have to Login In and Reconnect Devices

Running iOS 13.2.2. Connect App is updated to 4.24.2.2.

For the last week every time I turn on my iPhone I have to re-Log In to Connect and reconnect all my devices (Fenix 5x & Vivosport.) Is this an issue with a Garmin update or a Apple Update? I have deleted the App and re-installed it. Still the same issue.

I’ve now noticed because of the constant reconnecting of my watch daily is killing the battery’s on the watch! Reducing its life!!

Was considering a new Garmin watch however am starting to have second thoughts unless they sort the App out

  • add my edge 830, fenix 5x, scale to this list, most annoying and disturbing to add the devices and configurations constantly (iPhone, 13.3, latest 'connect' app)

My Vivofit 2 was doing the same thing in late-November, then the app worked normally for about 10 days, and now it is requiring Signin credentials and Pairing my Vivofit 2 every time I turn off my iPhone 6X Plus. I have iOS 13.3 and Garmin Connect 4.25.2.1.

  • Never had that issue. Never had to relogin until yesterday.

I restarted my iPhone XS and GC prompted to login and connect again my 645. Everything was updated to the last versions.

  • Same for my Fenix 5, Edge 830 and Edge 520.

    Really annoying and not satisfactory....

I’ve had different variations of the same problem with my Vivoactive HR and my iPhone 6S that seemed to show up with iOS 13. Now it requires sign in and setup every time I turn my phone on. I don’t lose data but am very dissatisfied with the whole process. I’ve been a Garmin user from day one but am feeling it is time to go to an Apple Watch for some reliability.

Agree. I don’t lose date but having to resign in every day means all your records reset. So... every time I run (daily) i’m setting a new record. Bluetooth connectivity is also terrible. Have to constantly PAIR to connect with GC. Having 3 Garmin devices  is not a complete PIA.

Same with some of you... long user of Garmin and was considering a Fenix 6 Solar but now rethinking this. CS has been terrible and the inability to fix what should be a simple issue is inexcusable.

Now my 5x Sapphire won”t connect to Bluetooth at all. Done with this *** Garmin APP. For sure 6x Solar is off the table. Nice job Garmin... lost a customer to Suunto.

  • Garmin: please provide an ETA for a fix otherwise you'll be losing users. I am ready to migrate away.
