Forerunner 935 weather app issue “waiting for data”

My watch weather app doesn’t display weather data. It only shows a display of “waiting for data”. When I got the watch it worked. Now it does not. How do I remedy this?

It isn't just you or your watch. 6x Sapphire here and I am having the same problem. Resets might fix it for 1x and then its back to doing the same thing. Waiting on a fix from the developers.

I’d encourage all users to log support tickets.

A Garmin support person told me earlier today that there had been no reports of this issue...thats despite lots and lots of people on here and on Twitter…

Had the same issue pop up for me - Garmin Support had me remove the device from Garmin Connect, and re-pair/reconnect the device. I'll say I had NO faith that would do it, but it solved my issue. And…

from the looks of it, this is happening for all watches. Based off of other forum posts numerous others are dealing with the same issue. Thank you for your response and I would hope the fix from developers is coming soon.

Not getting weather on Garmin

A Garmin support person told me earlier today that there had been no reports of this issue...thats despite lots and lots of people on here and on Twitter saying they’ve logged tickets. So basically, he lied. When I said that he outright denied it and said their systems showed no other tickets. So, the more people log tickets the less easy it is for them to fob people off with that garbage.

Issues happen, but I don’t appreciate being lied to. That’s not acceptable.

Also get "waiting for data" on my FR 935. Tried the unpair / pair with Garmin Connect with no luck.

wonder if we’ll see an update tomorrow fixing weather, sync, etc.?

Looking into crystal ball. I would say "no". took 2 weeks to get the update that did nothing. I think the cycle may be every two weeks. I read somewhere that had a response from Garmin that said "Mid November" for a fix.
