Vivoactive 3 no longer receives text notifications since the iOS 13 update.

Can’t get text messages from my phone. It does show if I have an active phone call but I don’t receive any notifications from text messages. I’ve tried everything and have had zero luck. My watch did do an update today but it still doesn’t work.

I am having the same problem. Surely Garmin will update the app soon to resolve this. Unless it is a new privacy setting by Apple.

What worked for me:

in your iPhone: Settings > notifications > messages. Select/turn on all 3 types of Alerts ( Lock Screen, Notification Center & Banners).

*for some reason, in my phone the “Notification Center” was unselected/off. After I turned on, I started getting text notifications on my Vivoactive 3.

I’ve been through all suggestions and still can’t get my watch to receive txt messages. Has anyone had any luck recently. My IPhone is software version 15.4
