App not displaying My Day stats

hey all,

i got a Forerunner 35 for Christmas and absolutely love the thing - but today the connect app has decided not to display my day stats!

I’ve synced the watch to the app repeatedly and although my activities are all transferred my day remains empty.

any ideas how to fix this?

I´ve been having the same issue, with my Forerunner 225, from this week on.

Since 8 February 2018 my activity transfer from Forerunner 35 to Garmin Connect on my smartphone fails.
  • There is something fundamentally wrong with how this app is displaying data in "My Day". I now have the problem that the "weight" data does not display in My Day. It seems to me that there is an issue more central to how My Day is displaying information. Depending on the device different data might not show, I have a Forerunner 235. My weight is properly recorded in the Connect website and the data is present on my iPhone if you go to the calendar the weight will be there but just not on My Day. Garmin, the quality of this app seems to be deterioating and is hurting your rep - Forerunner by itself is great but app is very problematic.

While my Garmin 920XT shows me my steps and progress toward steps goal every day, Garmin Connect seems to have stopped tracking my steps sometime in January. It shows no steps at all for February. This is odd considering that all of the activities I've done in that time, which include weight training, running, and cross country skiing have all showed up. Very strange that my device would track my steps and all my activities, and even my weight has transferred to Garmin Connect, but for some reason, my steps are not showing. It is definitely not that they are not being tracked, because I can see progress on my home screen of my 920XT right now that I'm progressing toward my daily steps goal. No clue why they are not being logged in the app when I sync with Garmin Connect, but this is also screwing up my Rally account, which tracks daily steps toward monetary rewards. Incidentally, my sleep tracking seems to have stopped right around the same time. Sometime in late January or early February. I have the latest release of the software. My 920XT is version is 9.7. I believe there have been a couple updates over that time.

I have an Edge 510, Foreunner 235 and use the Garmin Connect app on an iPhone SE. I recently updated the app and both devices and I couldn’t access ‘My Day’ in the app, nor had I been able to see any activity data before the update. This was driving me nuts and I factory reset both devices and reinstalled the app a couple of times. The solution is to do with data sharing consent with Garmin Connect. Previously I had chosen not to share data but it appears with the recent update, Garmin now disable key features of their software unless one gives consent to share data. It’s not something I’m particularly happy about but hope this helps people with the same issue, at least.

    Hi.

I have a vivoactive 3. For several weeks now, I have the problem as well that the weight is not listed in the “My day” view. I recognized now more problems on this page: If I change anything and save the new settings (adding and deleting, changing sort, deactivating “yesterday” & “7 day” view,...) the old settings come back. The update from GMC couple days ago didn’t fix the problem.

I use most recent iOS and GMC versions.

thx for feedback and fixing the problem.

I posted in the wrong forum before.
I'd also like to report this issue of the weight value not showing up in "My Day".

    I'm running 4.4.0.19 Connect on a iPhone 6 IOS 11.2.6 (15D100)

    Thank you

    Scot
  • Everyone has the weight problem. Garmin has acknowledged it and said a backend (whatever that means) update will be rolled out to correct it. I was a bit disappointed that the update 2 days ago didn't fix it.

    Everyone has the weight problem.

If you use your Garmin often enough, you should not have a weight problem anymore LOL ;-)
