Garmin connect not showing any more HR graph...

Hello,
The app (beta) works great except that today I have no more HR graphs from my vivosport displayed (even for the previous days). Live HR are displayed, the graph is available on the vivosport screen. ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1268070.png

  • Looks like a lot of people are having this same issue. I did email Garmin and got a response with this link:

    https://support.garmin.com/en-GB/?faq=oMQAW20SpY06UD0itn27o7&identifier=4BW041456&searchQuery=ios&tab=topics

Worth trying, but I have to say it didn't work for me. I've tried turning phone and watch off and on again, deleting and re-downloading the app, toggling Bluetooth settings, un-pairing and re-pairing watch etc, but still it says 'Sync your device to see today's timeline'. It's clearly a bug to do with the displaying of data, not the syncing of the data - the watch and phone ARE synced, as everything else is displayed perfectly, and the data on the web version of Garmin Connect is showing absolutely fine, and the max and min values are still showing in the app, so it can't be a syncing issue.

A very frustrating bug. which I hope they sort quickly.

I would suggest everyone emails [email protected] to report the issue, and tell them what steps you've already tried so they don't try and fob you off. It's clearly a widespread issue and the more people report it the more seriously they'll take it.

  • Since yesterday missing my HR graphs on my iPhone connect app. Max and Min values are shown. Also on the main screen the last 4 hours are availble as on the webportal. Looking forward for a solution.

  • Check the webportal. connect.garmin.com

It appears that the HR data is still logged and availble but not shown in the mobile app

  • Same issue here, since yesterday the graphs are gone. They still show in connect web though. Strange, there was no app update or watch update during or before the malfunction.

  • Sounds like exactly the same issue as me. The only thing that seemed to cause it was plugging my watch in to charge... don't know if you did that yesterday?

Lots of people seem to be having the same problem though. I would email [email protected]

  • I only charged it today about 15 min ago, the last week it’s been going strong on its own, so that’s not the issue. Only normal usage like always with no app or watch face installs. It just bugged out the hr charts out of nowhere.

  • Yeah same here. Definitely sounds like exactly the same problem. Only mentioned the charging thing because I noticed it yesterday about half an hour after charging, so wondered if that had set it off. May not have done. Just a thought.

Obviously sorry for all the people having the same problem, but very relived to hear I'm not the only one!

Hoping if plenty of people report it and email then a fix will materialise pretty quickly. I'm no programmer, but it doesn't strike me as a hard bug to fix.

  • This is the second time it's happened since I strarted using GC a couple of months ago, and last time it just started working again by itself after a day or two (I'd already ready tried restart, reconnect, reinstall, etc, none of which made any difference).
