No maps on Garmin Connect version 4.0 on iOS

After updating the Garmin Connect app today to v4.0, I don't see my running maps anymore in my details. Just a blue screen/map.

Is this just me? Or are you also we experiencing this?
  • Just to add, I've lost activity maps for new and very recent activities on my iPhone 5 on iOS 10.3.3 since updating to Garmin Connect v4.1.2.1

I get maps for historical activities up till October 8th 2017 but the next 4, from 27th October to today haven't.

They are all fine via the Garmin Connect website.

  • I am having same issue. Iphone 5, iOS 10.3.3, connect version 4.1.2.1, and no maps. I've signed out and back in but it didn't help. Can someone help me as well please?
  • It seems to have started about the same time as when the photo option started working. I'd rather have the maps back.
  • It's all gone quiet on this trail. Is there any chance of the maps being brought back soon?
  • The battery in my iPhone 5 started to swell and eventually broke it completely so done a fresh installation of Garmin Connect on an iPhone SE, iOS 11.1.2.
I now have all my maps back for all activities. Not tried any new activities so will report back in due course.
  • Still not got maps on my IPhone 5.

Same here, iPhone 5C (I know, don't ask, it's from my employer) and thus no IOS update, but no maps for new activities. No problem on the computer, no problem for older activities. Last one with map is Nov 1, then I didn't train for two weeks (injured), and the 26 has no map.

This problem is so frustrating. I have reported to Garmin support, but unfortunately they seem to skim read my e/mails and not take in what the actual problem is.
No maps or timeline on Mini IPad IOS version 9.3.5 and IPhone 5 IOS 10.3.3.
Yes these are old devices. The IOS versions are the latest these devices can support.
However, they do meet the system requirements for Garmin Connect.
I am sure the problem lies with the app, I borrowed a friends IPhone 5s which can support IOS 11.2, loaded the app logged on and everything appeared fine.

Same problem here: the maps of the activities are missing on the app, version 4.1.5.1 (upgraded today) in a iPhone 5 with iOS 10.3.3.

For the past month I can't see any maps for any of my new activities or any activities of my connections.

This is most frustrationing and clearly a lot of others have the same issue. I've just downloaded the current version of the app and logged out and back in again.

    Please help.
