Due the “2. dec bug” I’ve updated my iPhone 6 to 11.2., GCM is on 4.1.3 - and after nearly a month the sync looks working normal. No need to messing with Bluetooth nor need to restart the phone.
Crossing fingers that it’s not only a one day fix from Garmin and Apple.
I have a Forerunner 735 and an iPhone X. I had regular syncing issues with this Forerunner and my old iPhone 6 but nothing like today. This morning Forerunner just refused to sync, period. I turned both devices on and off several times - no go. Then thinking that maybe deleting and reinstalling the device from the app would help, I did just that. No, it made it worse. Now I can't even add the device back to the app, the phone and the watch don't see each other. Not sure which devices' fault this is. The Forerunner is on 4.1.3, and I just updated my iPhone to the latest 11.2 - same deal. I don't know what else to do barring deleting the app on my phone and reinstalling it - and possibly wiping off the watch back to the factory settings. I honestly feel like I am about to scream. Any advice is hugely appreciated.
