Functional Threshold Power (FTP) not in App

FTP is being calculated and displayed in my Garmin Edge 520.

However, it is not showing up in the IOS Garmin Connect app. There is an page in the app under Performance Stats called FTP but when going into that page it says "No data available".

I am using a power meter on the bike (but not Vector). I also use a Garmin 235 (which can not calculate FTP) but it is not used in Activity mode when on the bike (I use the Edge).

All other metrics (including VO2 Max) seem to transfer from the Edge 520 properly. Anyone know what's wrong?
  • I have Garmin Vectors and there is no data in the FTP page on the IOS app despite their being a power curve

No data in lactate threshold too

in terms of listening to the voice of the customer, after 2 years it would be reasonable to expect this to be resolved

My edge 530 is now displaying FTP again and the app is too.  I’m not sure what fixed it.

Wow Garmin, this is still an issue to this day... and it’s apparently been at least 2 years since it was first reported. How about you guys address this? Would be much appreciated  by us paying 600 bucks for the watch. thanks

Same here. Got a 520 Edge and 4iiii Powermeter for outdoors and Tacx Flux for indoors.

FTP and VO2 max are perfectly shown on the 520 but can't seem to find it's way to the Garmin Connect app.

(VO2 max is shown in Garmin Connect app, FTP isn't..)

Starting to get annoying, especially because you do see the info per ride in Garmin Connect, so why won't it transfer to the actual overall FTP page.

I've sent an extended mail to Garmin about a week a go or so, no respons so far........

Extremely surprised about the amount of people having this issue for over 2(!) years already and the lack of respons from Garmin (hello?!)

    "certain conditions / configurations"

Well that's one of the most frustrating responses ever. What are the conditions!? If we knew we could understand the problem or perhaps there's a setting to change or a type of workout we need to do. As it is you've given us nothing except to confirm that you have a problem.  Apparently it's a problem you don't intend to fix as I'm still getting this problem 3 years after the thread was started.
