Iphone 7 + IOS10 + Vivoactive HR not pairing

Hello

First of all, sorry for my bad english

Yesterday, I receive an iphone 7. After inititialize (from the backup of my previous one) the iphone, I download Garmin Connect on the apple store

I was able to pair and sync my Edge 810 and 920XT

The problem is that I was not able to pair my Vivoactive HR by doing exactly the same procedure than my Edge 810 and my 920XT

The system found my Vivoactive HR, the pairing number appear on the screen of the watch, I put it on Garmin Connect App and after iI receive and error message. It's something like : (sorry the message is in french, I try to translate"
"Fail to pairing
Impossible to pair you Garmin Device
Error device connexion"

I try many things:
-Reinit the watch
-delete install the Garmin connect app
-remove from the bluetooth device
-...

Someone can help me?

Many thanks

Almost the same problem here :/

But in my case it's garmin forerunner 235 don't pair to my iPhone 7 iOS 10.0.1.
    App can't find device.
The pairing code box don't even show.

On my iPhone 6s IOS 9.0.2 works fine.

    So freaking frustrating!

    Try this:

    1. Delete the VAHR from Connect Mobile.
    2. Make sure the VAHR is not connected in the iPhone's bluetooth devices list. If it is, delete it there too.
    3. Initiate the pairing from the VAHR's system settings and then start Connect Mobile to finalize the pairing with the pairing code. Make sure the iPhone an internet connection and GPS switched on, while you pair.

    Doesn't solve my problem!

And I'm pretty admired that I can't find other people with the same issue.

I tryed already in three different devices on IOS 10.0.1 and nothing!

My forerunner 235 can't be paired on iOS 10

And GCM is allowed to ALWAYS use location services on the iPhone? I guess default is "when in use".

PS: If you google for iOS 10 issues, you'll find hints about WiFi & Bluetooth issues. Recommended solution is to reset network settings ... worth a try. If that fails too, I would contact Garmin Support ... they need to be aware of this problem anyway.

I have the same problem with my iPhone 7 and forerunner 235. It will connect and give me a code but after I put the code in my iphone the pairing fails. It will still connect with my iPhone 5s.

I've removed the device from all bluetooth settings, iphone & connect. Rebooted both devices. Reset the network settings on the phone. Still no luck.

What's weird is I still get alerts from text, apps, etc. to the watch I just can't sync the watch to connect.

But that would mean, the pairing with the iPhone 7 was successful, but only GCM has issues to sync?

I guess that's correct. It's connected in the iPhone Bluetooth settings but fails to pair after I put the code in connect.

Might it be, that bluetooth gets connected to iOS before it can be established in GCM? Might it be, that iOS didn't really forget this Garmin device connection and re-establishes it, before you can reconfigure it in GCM?

    Just a thought.

Here's the steps I just took without success:
    1. Forget Forerunner 235 from iPhone settings
    2. Turn off bluetooth on 235 watch
    3. Restart both devices
    4. Reactivate bluetooth on 235 watch and check to make sure it's not connected to iPhone.
    5. Pair mobile device on watch and connect app
    6. iPhone says "Device Found". Enter code from watch in iPhone
    7. iPhone says Pairing Failed
    8. Go back to iPhone bluetooth settings and Forerunner 235 is listed as connected under my devices.
    9. Forerunner 235 not listed in connect app devices

And here we have the problem, as far as I understood correctly.

The code shown on the watch needs to be entered in Connect Mobile, not in iOS. iOS will then only show, that the watch is connected, but won't ask for the pairing code, because GCM should deliver it to iOS after you entered it in GCM.

So if you entered the pairing code in GCM and iOS neverless asks for it too, this info should be delivered to Garmin Support, because that is not normal.
